How to Clean Glass Candle Holders - 3 Easy Tips!

We know what a chore it is to get wax out of candle holders. Here are some tips on how to keep them sparkling clean.

1. Freezer

Place the cooled candle holder in the freezer for a few hours or overnight. This will help shrink the leftover wax so that it can easily pop out. A butter knife can also be used to loosen the wax if necessary. 

2. Hot water
Pour hot water into the container and let it soak for a few hours (leave room at the top). To avoid cracks, make sure the glass cup has returned to room temperature before this step. The boiling water will melt the wax and it will float to the top.

3. Hairdryer
Blow hot air on the wax for several minutes or until it begins to melt. Once the wax is soft, lift or scrape it out with a butter knife.

Once you've completed one of the three steps above, wash with warm soap and water and the candle holder will be as good as new!
